Differences In Brands and Seer Rating
• Weatherking 13 SEER is the “Economic” option, lower grade panel construction and paint finish no safety controls for high or low side pressures, least efficient option.
• RUUD 13 SEER a “Good” option, high quality construction in panels and paint, no safety controls for high or low side pressures, least efficient option.
• RUUD 16 SEER the “Better” option, high quality construction in panels and paint, oversized condenser, high and low side safety controls installed, better efficiency option.

It works by extracting heat from the outside air or ground and pumping it inside when you need to warm your home, and vice versa for cooling. On the other hand, a dual fuel system is a hybrid system that combines a heat pump with a backup furnace. This system is ideal for colder climates where temperatures can drop below freezing, making it difficult for a heat pump to efficiently heat your home. The backup furnace kicks in to provide heat when the heat pump is less efficient or cannot keep up with demand.
